Traditional businesses in the digital age
Ideothetic Flow
Hi everyone!
This fortnight, I have something to share from Shopify's blog. I tend to avoid sharing articles like these because they would be skewed towards marketing their product. However, despite that, I still found this article an encouraging read which broadened my own views on possible business ideas.
Paper Isin't Dead - How Two Merchants Found a Niche In A Waning Industry - Shopify Blog
These are examples of how entrepreneurship need not be about a groundbreaking idea, or making some high tech data driven SAAS or platform. Instead, there is still opportunity to be found in traditional spaces.
For those who have wanted to break free from their office jobs but lack technical skills, I hope this also inspires you to find your own niche. I would love to hear your ideas and offer support, so do drop me a mail if you are taking that plunge into becoming an entrepreneur!
Hope you have a great week ahead!
James
ABOUT
Ideothetic Flow is a fortnightly newsletter where I reflect on insights that I have found useful in rethinking life in a more realistic way.
Modern culture, media, and technology, for all their benefits, have distorted the view of a complete and happy life. The ideas I share are those which have helped me gain a deeper understanding of my own identity and circumstances, and inspire change towards a happier life, and I hope they will do the same for anyone else who reads this.
